What is a Photo Presentation?
A photo Presentation is a collection of photographs at can be organized into a video slideshow set to music.
How long will it take you to complete my photo Presentation once you have the pictures?
The standard turn around time is 10 business days from the date we receive your pictures.
Will my DVD player or Computer play the DVD you create?
Our photomontages are created with the industry standard format of DVD-R. Most DVD players manufactured within the past 4 years will play our DVD-R’s.
Can you scan negatives and slides?
Yes. We can accept negatives and slides as well as your paper photographs.
Can I pick my own music?
Yes. We encourage you to pick music that you would like to hear with your photo Presentation. However, you must own an original copy of your music selection and submit a copy of your music selection with your photographs.
Is it legal to have copyrighted music on my videos?
Yes. The songs on your photo Presentation will be purchased on your behalf. These songs are licensed for personal use, just like any music you buy from the store.
What graphics formats do you accept?
We can accept any of the following: JPG(JPEG), GIF, BMP(Windows Bitmap), TIFF(Tagged Image), PNG(Portable Network Graphics), PSD (Photoshop), PSP(Paintshop Pro). If you have a need for additional file format support, please contact us at admin@memorylanepics.com.
What are title pages?
A title page is a blank slide with text on it. It is a natural braking point between chapters in your photo Presentation or in the life of the person (s) in the photo Presentation.
What is a text Overlay?
It is text that you can display with your pictures. The text Overlay is typically closer to the bottom of the screen. A text overlay gives the audience additional information about a particular picture. A text overlay loses its effectiveness if it is used on every picture in your video or you make your descriptions too long. A text overlay should be short and to the point.
What should I use? Audio Clips or Voice Narrations?
Voice narrations are a great way to add emotion and character to the video. Voice narrations are recordings of you speaking to your audience. Voice narrations can be played in conjunction with your music so your audience can listen and enjoy your pictures at the same time. The music will be softer than the voice narration and you can hear both at the same time.
How do I submit my photographs to you?
Via Email or mail delivery.
What can I add to my Photo Presentation beside pictures?
You can add any of the following: Photographs (Negatives, Slides or Paper Photograph) Voice (CD, Audio Tape, .MP3 or WAV) Video VHS, C-VHS, 8MM, Hi8, DV, 8MM, Beta Tapes and Min DV. Also non-photo content such as Newspaper Articles, Awards, Brochures, Certificates of appreciation and etc.

We will replace up to one copy for a period of one year. All you have to do is pay for half of orignal cost and the shipping and handling to replace your Photo Presentation.
What if I have a damaged Photograph that I would like in my photo Presentation?
We do offer photo restoration; however, there are limitations to what we can do. We evaluate your photograph and give you a set of options.
